Transportation is included in some tours from Guatapé to the site. For most rentals you will have to go to the marine or a specific dock. However this information will be detailed in the information page of each.

Is insurance included in the tours and rentals?
Yes, insurance covering accidents related to the activity is included in the total price except the transportation. We ask for the full names and ID numbers of each guest at least 24 hours in advance to make sure you're covered.
Is it safe to travel to Guatapé?
Absolutely. Guatapé is considered very safe for travelers. The town has security cameras, regular police presence, and a calm, friendly atmosphere. Like anywhere, it’s smart to keep an eye on your belongings, but crime here is rare.
What should I pack for a day in Guatapé?
Comfortable shoes are a must, especially if you're visiting La Piedra or going on any nature tours. Bring sunscreen, a hat, and a reusable water bottle. A light jacket is also a good idea in case of rain or cool evenings. And don’t forget your camera — Guatapé is incredibly photogenic! How far is Guatapé from Medellín?
It’s about 2 to 2.5 hours by car, depending on traffic. On weekends or holidays, it can take longer, so we always suggest leaving Medellín early. We offer private transportation from Medellín and the airport if you'd rather relax and not worry about the drive.
Do I need to book in advance?
Rain is part of life in the mountains! Most of our tours can still run in light rain, and we adjust plans to keep things comfortable. If weather conditions are unsafe, we’ll offer to reschedule or provide a partial refund. We always stay in touch the day before your tour to confirm everything.
Can you hold a reservation while I decide?
Yes! We can hold a spot for 12 to 24 hours while you confirm or send payment. Just let us know what you need and we’ll do our best to accommodate.
Do you offer group discounts?
We do! For bookings over $400 USD, we offer a 5% discount. For bookings over $800 USD, you get 8% off. Just ask Ana when you’re ready to book.
Can I customize a tour or plan a special experience?

Are the tours private?
